Sewing Summer Camp 2024

This sewing camp is perfect for students who are eager to learn how to create a variety of enjoyable projects for their personal use. Participants will have the opportunity to craft a tote bag, a zip pouch for stationery, a tissue holder, as well as a simple skirt and pants.

 

The camp features hands-on training with detailed instructions for cutting and pinning at the table, as well as guidance on setting up and using a sewing machine. Each project is accompanied by a step-by-step instruction handout, ensuring that students can recreate the projects independently. There will be plenty of time for students to sew together and have fun!

A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 is payable upon registration.

An agreement will be given to you to sign on the students first day.

Week 1: July 15 - 19

Week 2: July 22 - 26

Week 3: July 29 - August 2

Week 4: August 5 - 9

Week 5: August 12 - 16

Week 6: August 19 - 23

 

Cost $275.00 weekly inclusive of material (fabric, zipper, needle and thread).

 

Does not include ruler, scissor and tape measure. If the child have a sewing machine they should bring it to camp.

 

Location: Barcadere Warehouse Park Building D unit 216. This is located opposite Scott's Marine before you reach George Town Yacht Club.
